Terms of Service
Effective June 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Bookpoint (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Bookpoint is an online scheduling tool that lets service providers (“Providers”) share a booking page and accept appointments from their clients (“Customers”). We provide the platform; Providers are responsible for the services they deliver.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bookpoint.ca if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from other users.
5. Bookings and cancellations
Providers set their own availability, pricing, and cancellation policies. Bookpoint facilitates the scheduling process but is not a party to any agreement between a Provider and a Customer. Any disputes regarding appointments, refunds, or service quality are solely between the Provider and the Customer.
6. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using the Service you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
7. Intellectual property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bookpoint and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookpoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
